Assistants are assigned certain geographic areas to recruit for the most part. I'm sure Mosley has a relationship with Mahoney too but Stripling is his area recruiter.

Yes, Elder is in Memphis too. I think both Elder and Stripling work Memphis together. Example, If you look at Jason Carr's rivals page from last years class you see Elder and Stripling both listed as his recruiters.

Oh now I see what you were inferring. That he'll be a DT and not on the OL since Mahoney isn't his recruiter? Haha yeah he'll definitely start out at DT per the VQ mods but they said he could end up on OL.

To echo Ron, Fortenberry was just on TSR saying he thought Mosley would have more upside on the offensive
side of the ball but could certainly play NT on defense.

In our offense I dont think linemen over 310 would do great in our fast pace, unless they were freaks of nature. And Tiny is an example of the exception and he's still struggled. Mosley's DL all the way imo.

I agree with you. I'm just saying what Fortenberry thinks.

I think this staff is showing with guys like Weisman/Raulersone that your theory is correct and they
want more mobile OL who can pull and block in space.

I think that's why even though we're losing more talented players there might not be as much of a drop off in play as some think.

On Mosley, I agree I would play him at NT.

Where did he say he was going to bama? He said he was excited about him bc Saban wants him and he's usually pretty good on linemen evaluations. Said nothing about him going to bama.

It is all good. Just passing info I heard. Not an insider by any means. Just excited about Tenn going in the right direction thats all.

plus old boys a golfer. That holds a lot of merit for me when he speaks........says no one ever
