Cam Clear is the one that is missed the most of that trio...omari phillips and nukeese, not so much. Overrated uf and overrated kiffin that should have gone to uf.

Isn't Mixon basically a Juco since he already tried to sign last year ablnd chose to transefer to finish his senior year rather than go the Juco route?

I know he isn't considered one. What I was geting at he might see the field before some do since he has an extra year of football on some of the others before going to college.

Don't think he played this fall, but the extra year of maturity certainly won't hurt.

Say if he's young for his grade and Mosley (or Hendrix if you think Mixon is a DE) is old for his class they could theoretically be a few months apart in age. Also he doesn't "have an extra year of football" he didn't play last year so he's played the same amount.

That being said, he should be more ready than a lot of the frosh DL, I just don't want to say Mixon will come in and beat all of these guys out and he might not be ready.

thats the thing, he doesnt have an extra year of football. maybe some weightlifting and training, but thats about it. he is the same as a grayshirt is

I believe he will come in and beat out the freshman. He's been workout like an animal and learning his play book. On top of that he's an EE who more that likely will be a little more mature than the freshman. He will also be physically more mature than the freshman being he's an EE.

Look at his pic he just tweeted out. He has been in the weight room and you can tell it. If he had been on campus he could've red shirted and worked out all the time instead of playing which is what you usually would want out of a kid coming out of HS.

He looks SEC ready now physically. He is hugh. That year of being out of high school and working out to get bigger IMO is no different than doing it and taking a RS if he had good direction. Looks like he has.

Looks like a beast. I think he will play alot.

His highlight film is impressive. And what really stands out is that the competition is outstanding. I used to live about an hour from his high school and most teams in his conference has several d1 recruits. Big time suburbs on outskirts of Dallas

DFW just swept the state championship games. Talent here is off the charts. I expect big things from this guy.

Agree. I'm hoping Mixon, Hendrix and Barnett push for PT early. They look the most physically ready.
