'15 AL LB Keaton Anderson

I've always gotten the impression based on things I've read that he isn't exactly a priority. That's not to say they'd turn him down if he tried to commit, just that they aren't really pushing that hard for him.

Agree, and honestly, if this kid wasn't a legacy, few would really care very much IMO. He's a good, not great player. If we're in on better, more talented players, which I believe we are, let's go sign the better, more talented players. Jmo.

i dont know. do you not like his stars or something?

Absolutely want him if he fits our system. He is a legacy Vol so he will never give less than his best. To me these guys have more pride and from their interviews seem like the type to fight for our team instead of lay down when adversity hits

It seems a lot of the personal ties are coaches who have been associated with the VOLS but obviously is no longer the case. His big orange ties wear other teams colors. He will as well.

I don't want to sound like a biased homer, but I wonder how much we actually pursued and pushed for this kid...

I don't recall VQ having much to say about him the last 2 months. I think he'll be a good LB. I think the staff is all in on Quarte Sapp, DeBerry, Jahvoni Simmons, and VQ even said 2 days ago that the staff has still been recruiting Carl Tucker Jr fairly hard.

This is Saban's recruiting version of the Athens Chamber of Commerce speech...Keaton Anderson is not the caliber of LB that Alabama normally offers. He's just trying to turn the knife in our gut a little bit.

I can't wait until order is restored and UT beats Bama consistently.Seeing little Nicky on the sideline soaking it in will be priceless.

It's coming.

One of the more overblown things I've seen in awhile. They'd had plenty of Vols in previous years and it made them lots of money... That's the goal.

And he's done it from the standpoint of taking a kid who's family funds our training facility. Of course, I honestly don't know why he'd give 2 Shiites about UT. We've been nothing but an afterthought, if that, since he's been there.

That being said, meh as far as "losing" Keaton.

Oh, I agree...I just think Saban is a busy man who gets invites from all over the country and the reason he accepted the offer from a town many people even in Tennessee have never heard of is that he wanted to poke Tennessee fans in the ribs...It is no coincidence that he has recruited Tennessee legacies very hard...Todd Kelly Jr and Dillon Bates both talked about it.

And Dillon purposefully put an Alabama hat on the table just so he could pick the Tennessee one on national TV. Boom. Go Vols.
