'15 AL LB Keaton Anderson

On quotes and only quotes, I'd say LSU. But Bama is the choice here imo. We finished 3rd

Chavis knows LBers like the back of a ham.

Honestly, I'm not sure right now what he will do. It's never had a feel of just, 'He'll end up a Vol.'

From talking to some people in Alabama, some think Duke is even a team to keep an eye on in this thing. I don't think anything is a given with him at all.

I've always gotten the impression based on things I've read that he isn't exactly a priority. That's not to say they'd turn him down if he tried to commit, just that they aren't really pushing that hard for him.

It is an odd situation. We aren't taking a big class, and this staff is great at recruiting. Any other year (and UT winning), he has a place at UT. Right now (and this year) is just different.

I agree. Most of the time kids commit to schools that recruit them the hardest, that show the most interest. It certainly hasn't sounded like UT has made Anderson a priority so it would make sense that he goes elsewhere.

Well, as always, I believe if a guy has decent talent and is a legacy, you go all out to get him. In addition to talent there are several intangibles they bring to the table. But, there may be other factors involved, who knows. It could be that he just doesn't value his Tennessee roots enough to bring out those intangibles and CBJ can read that.

His highlights are pretty impressive. I don't know with the small class if we have the room. He has good quickness, and sticks his nose in there on the ball carrier. I hate for legacies not to come here.

Got to be a tough call for him. It's like basically like 3 uncles( Steele, Chavis, Cutcliffe) recruiting you that you grew up around and then your family alma mater.

When your family name is on a building and they give the money they do...how odd would it be for them to cheer for another school?

When I look at the kids film, he looks like an SEC player. When I look at his offers, obviously it says the same thing. Legacies IMO should not be taken lightly. Especially the ones who could sign with one of your biggest rivals. If Keaton chooses not to follow in his family footsteps at Tennessee, I'll respect that. Sometimes a kid just wants to do his own thing. IF the coaches are not pushing for him because of a "big fish", and that causes him to look elsewhere, IMO it's a mistake.
