it's not my logic. i'm not saying it's their logic. just that we don't know what those other factors were, and how they'd be different in this situation.
the only thing we know that's the same is...he's from Bama, he's graduated, and he wants to go to another SEC school.
did you miss the part where i said he should be able to go where he wants in the post you quoted??????????????
Ok your assumption (speculation or guess), of the their possible assumed factors ori non factors based on cross divisional or divisional play has flaws. It is impossble, except by completely banning graduate transfers from transferring within the SEC, to ensure graduate transfers will not compete against their prior team.
Rumor is Auburn will have a Medical DQ announced soon. They'll have a scholarship available for Kennedy in case the SEC rules in his favor.
I agree with Saban. If the SEC approves this the rule Needs to be removed permanently
Some of these other guys aren't having issue inside conference like nick king. I think Saban just deflecting.
I think the rule should be that a graduate can transfer anywhere except within divison like TN player can't go to Florida, UGA, etc but can go to LSU, Bama etc
Of course you agree with Saban.

I actually agree with Saban as well, if his summation of the rule is correct. Does the SEC rule on transfers differentiate between normal transfers and graduate transfers? If a player has not graduated and seeks to transfer, I'm not against a school being able to set restrictions on where they can and cannot transfer to. In the case of grad transfers though, I feel they have lived up to their scholarship conditions, and therefore, if they want to leave, they should be able to do so without restriction. I think there should exist a distinction between a transfer and a grad transfer. Again, have not looked at the rule myself, but Saban seems to suggest there is an umbrella rule covering all transfers. If that's the case, it should be changed, imo.
