Wow nothing against Loisville but if I have options like FSU, TN, UF then Louisville is way down my list unless he is worried about competing and is pretty much guaranteed to start day one. I know Petrino is a great guy to play for if you're an offensive guy but damn give the someone I can potentially play for a Natl Champ with and the playoffs. Just me though. But sounds like Jones is who UT wants but he definitely should consider UF with GM wanting to bring in his own guys to run his system. He can have Peterman!

Was my favorite guy heading into season. Had a little trouble transitioning to a more pro system at IMG but got it going the last 5 games. Best arm and touch in class. Height is my biggest knock on kid. He does forced things from time to time.

I could be in the minority here but I love Jones as a prospect. No doubt Francois is a good prospect as well, but for the style of offense TN runs, Jones just looks like he brings everything to the table. Not only a great arm and excellent accuracy but man is that kid quick and elusive.

And I'm sure they have been upfront with Dormady and Jennings but still won't hurt if Jones wants to committ to wait till both are enrolled. I know back in June S. Jones was in the top 3 of the QB board when he visited then ultimately committed to UF. So I would guess they take Jones over Francois if both wanted to come. Jones is my fave or the two and hope we get him.

I like him better myself. His arm isn't as strong as Dormady or Francois but he seems to be more accurate and is taller. And it's not like his arm is weak either Dormady and Francois just have really strong arms but Jones is right behind them and like everything else better about Jones over Francois, just a personal opinion and he was high on us back when he visited.

Definitely..He would be a great addition to go with Dormady and Jennings. I know he was top 3 on the Coach's board when he committed to UF and seem to really want him now too.

Per Hubbs

The quarterback position is also another spot that should be fun to watch down the stretch and should come down to numbers. Both Sheriron Jones and Deondre Francois initially reached out to Tennessee this month as Jones decommitted from Florida and Francois began to look at other options once again.

Jones seems like the more realistic option if the Vols have room for another quarterback, as Tennessee will have both Quinten Dormady and Jauan Jennings begin classes in early January. Jones is expected to visit in mid-January.

Lebanon is a great place, but changing rapidly with growth. My family ties to the area go back hundreds of years (literally). I can see getting out of there before Nashville swallows it.
