Ummm.. No.. No you're not as big a UT fan as anyone.. Recruiting's not personal, it's business.. A spot opens up at UT for me- I don't care if I'm their 500th pick, I'd commit on the spot.
The fact that it's a business is kind of my point and would prevent me from looking at it like a blind homer fan. Other SEC schools having spent the time recruiting me a year and or offering me would hold a lot of weight vs a last minute offer from a school who ran out of other options on their TE board and thought they may be able to add the instate kid late. JMO
My being a UT fan would not have me forgetting the last year and how my recruitment played out.

The coaches have the fate of the entire program in their hands.. It's their responsibility to all of us to bring in the absolute best players available to the program. Idk how u couldn't understand that if you're really a die hard fan.
I fully understand what the coaches have invested here. Once again the fact that just about every other SEC program had offered me(speaking if I were Jackson), would not have me forgetting my instate school ignored me the whole time. As you said it's a business decision.

2 point conversion. IMO, if Wolf wasn't in front of him he'd be a much bigger contributor. Not his fault that he's behind an exceptional freshman
Helm just needs to add weight and he'll be alright. I've just been really i,pressed with Wolf's hands. I thought he grew up in a run heavy offense in high school. He's the total package. Good find by this staff.
Wolf is just a stud of a TE, he's not the norm for a true freshman. I think he's going to be the best we've had a UT in a long while. Helm is going to be a good one as well though and especially in the passing game. I think he just needs to add a little weight and get stronger. I think next year we will see him and Wolf on the field together a lot.
I'm really excited about the future for those two guys, good TEs are so tough for defenses to defend because they're such a mismatch. LBs can't run with them and they can just use their size to box out DBs. I really believe that those two are going to be a heck of a tandem. Hopefully we will have our own version of what the Patriots had for a season in Gronk (Wolf) and Hernandez (Helm).
The best part is that the defense will never know what's coming. With two do-it-all TEs on the field you're just as much of a threat to run the ball as you are to pass it. Damn I just wish Worley had a year of eligibility left.
