'15 FL DE Byron Cowart

"The fact that I could come in and start and get the program right, because I know they are fixing it," said Cowart on why he's intrigued by Tennessee. "When you think of Tennessee and the stuff they've done and the guys that came from Tennessee, defensive linemen-wise, I know they know what they're doing when it comes to my position. That's really it."

Cowart has planned a visit to Tennessee for the Orange and White Game on April 12 and said he's been talking to Tennessee head coach Butch Jones. "I talked to him the other day and we talked a little bit and he was just telling me how I could fit their scheme," Cowart said.

The Armwood High School standout already knows what he's looking for when he's checking out schools. "One is relationship with the coach and then where will I be living. Those are the only two things I'm worried about," Cowart said. "The relationship with with the coach, the strength coach, where I'm living and then academics and all of that. The facilities and weight rooms are a plus, but I'm looking at other things."

Cowart is taking his time with his recruiting and plans to take his official visits this fall and will announce next January. "I'm going to wait until after the season because I'm announcing at the Under Armour game," Cowart offered. Will Tennessee receive an official visit in the fall? His trip next month will have a big affect on that question. "This will be my evaluation to see if there will be a trip number two," Cowart said.

He says this, until he sees our athletic facilities. Then, he will know
Even I am still amazed at our athletic facilities. Really who in college football can rival our facilities? Maybe 10 universities? I'd wager to say we have top 5 facilities in the country.

I would say we have the best bar none. We have set the standard. Everyone else is trying to catch up.

We will have Nike next year and Autzen is nothing compared to Neyland stadium!

Yes, but Oregon has Nike (Phil Knight) funneling in money to the program that is not part of their equipment package.

They have a much different relationship with Nike than any other Nike school.

Between workouts, class, and girls, why does anybody care where they live in college? It's just a bed to lay down on at the end of a day that was spent being awesome.
