Having recently impressed at the Under Armour AA gm and earning a fourth star I think he lands on feet okay.

First of a few casualties I'm sure. It is a bit surprising that Ford was the first to go though. Sounds like the coaches told him his scholarship is no longer on the table due to number concerns. Shame they waited this long. Jabo Lee also got shafted pretty hard by Butch don't know if yall remember the details there, but basically the coaches knew he wouldn't get it in and did not discuss this with Lee and his coaches until like a few months after NSD-Lee was already a December graduate if I remember correctly and according to his high school coach we had his transcripts since January, so there was no excuse on Tennessee's part for calling him an academic casuality - especially considering he signed with another college right after we turned him down. Point is, recruiting is a dirty business at times. Just gotta deal with it.

Definitely...just sucks it happened so close to signing day.

Another reason I like the idea of an early signing period. If a school isn't willing to sign you early then you know where you stand and have plenty of time to look around.

no.. it's completely logical.. and that's why is such a crazy statement. everything I said was true. I just don't know about UT anymore.. the biggest baddest place to play college football now we're turnin kids like this away? my god

UT is starting to produce DL again. After losing ealy, Ray, golden, Sam, hoch and Vincent in the last two yrs I'm sure mizzous line will take a step back. Marcus loud is no markus golden.
