'15 FL QB/WR/DB (anything he wants) Torrance Gibson PART II

I don't believe any of the written OR alleged stuff...I don't perceive him as a discipline problem...I just don't get a leadership feel from him...which is vital if you're going to be THE face of a program. I originally turned on him when he pulled the. "Important announcement coming soon" stunt, and then proceeded to announce which all-star game he was going to play for. I acknowledge that he was mocking the angst on every word tweeted on social media, fine for a high school kid ...IMMATURE FOR A QB...and I don't think he's an even average passer...so we should do what he doesn't do so well. :wavey:

Gentlemen, this is awesome and I am quite excited for the storm brewing in KnoxVegas. 3 years ago we'd all be on the TG bandwagon thinking if we landed him we'd have the second coming of Terrell Pryor (good passer or not) and start winning games and if we didn't there would be a meltdown.


Fast forward 3 years and we are now turning players with this much talent down. I must admit, if feels good that our coaching staff can actually start picking who they want and who they don't. I have full faith bUTch is righting the ship, his energy is contagious and I say it's a great day to be a VOL.

Seems to me that Simmons was saying how great of a defender JJ is.

I'm just sitting here trying to figure out why some of you have pushed under the rug Mathews reports of both JJ and QD being told they will be the only QBs in this class. Mixed with his reports of us only taking 2 WRs, likely being Williams and Jefferson...

Doesn't sound like we get him as of right now. I'm excited for Dormady and Jennings.

Hope we do and he gets an opportunity to play QB. I don't think he's a bad kid or deserves some of the stuff he gets.

If we don't then that scholarship will be taken by another great player we are in on.

I'm gonna put this thread on ignore and keep up with it through the tweets and hot recruiting news, since there I will actually get some news on him.

Because it's all hearsay until NSD. JJ said Butch told him he is going to get a shot at QB. Matthews has said we are not taking another QB. Other sites have said TG is being recruited as a QB. TG said Butch told him he is recruiting him at QB.

Bottom line is nobody knows anything. Not me. Not you. Not Matthews, Simmons or Dilfer. We know nothing until TG commits somewhere.
