Hubbs never said we backed off. He said he thinks we don't lead for Gibson anymore. Callahan never said we backed off . Some do not have reading comprehension skills I guess.

Lulz. You really think we went from being the "leader by a wide margin" to not the leader anymore in a week, and he never visited another school in that time period? It's pretty obvious Callahan is saying we're having to slowly back out. The "red flags" must be a huge concern. He is hinting a lot of teams are backing off, indirectly daying UT is. But by all means continue to fail at comprehension

I really don't know what to think about this recruitment anymore. Obviously, Matt is dialed into the UTAD so he must've heard something very recently to drop in like that. He doesn't just do stuff to mess with people. Then less than 8 hours later you got Hubbs and Callahan saying what they said. To top it off, the #1 player overall on our board who is considered a Vol lock, tweets Gibson constantly almost everyday like they are BFFs and hints around at them going to college together.


This is wack.

What school was this and where did Hubbs say that? He said he thinks we may not be the favorite. Maybe he is number crunching or just guessing based on us having two qbs. Gibson said we lead by a wide margin and as far as I know he hasn't said any different. People are putting a lot of words into Hubbs and Rc's mouths. Callahan did not say that. He said it MAY happen. That means it MAY not. He didn't even say it was likely we back off.

Don't waste your breath. You'll never convince them. He could commit and they'll say he won't sign. He can sign and they'll say he will transfer.

You are right. People act like someone saying we may not be the favorite is the same as we are completely out of it and we backed off. They want it to be true so bad they will run with anything that says we aren't a 100% lock to prove we are completely out of the running.

I know. It's crazy when a conservative TN writer talks about schools possibly backing off. I mean, the only school he would truly know if they're trying to back off or not would be UT, but that's just crazy! We'd never back off of VN's favorite recruit!!!!!!! Why would he throw out the comment that it's a tricky situation because a lot of our top targets are friends with him and that would leave a "sour" taste in their mouths? And you wanna talk about my reading comprehension

Glad someone clarified what I was trying to say.

TG and KM tweeting each other about playing on the same team, while including a "foreshadowing" hashtag. That was what I was curious about.

I don't think I want to be around this forum if KM commits to Arizona. Lol.
