Please continue your lecture from the other day about how "5* players are just pretty on paper".

Yeah twitter is now the official gospel. Everything anybody says on twitter is 100% truthful. Oh LV you seriously are a teenager aren't you?

I don't believe anything anyone says on twitter. I don't believe Hubbs, Fort, RC, DM or any other media personality. They are going by what they may or may not have heard. Its their best guess. Until we see who signs on NSD, all articles are just conjecture.

But I know one thing, Jennings SAID CBJ would give him a shot at QB so he is way more believable than any other recruit :birgits_giggle:

No, I am not a teenager. :dunno:

Jennings is a Tennessee Volunteer commitment. Our coaches took his commitment. I'll trust he knows where he stands with those coaches and the class. :good!:

I'm sure there have been cases in the past. Anytime there are "issues", 5* or not, some schools will not take the chance. Also a good chance if the rumors play out to be true with the bigger schools backing off, he is likely to lose his 5* ranking on the sites who have him as a 5* today. Especially if it is grade related.

Is it grandfathered in that he's a five star?...if he struggles this year and downgrades to a four or (gasp) THREE star...do we have to take him then? :blink:

Of course not. The large majority of those screaming "you just have to take him" are basing it off his supposed "5* ranking" and not much else. If he were a composite 4* today, I doubt you would hear near as many folks claiming he is a take no matter what. End of the day, it really doesn't matter.
