Don't most QB recruits commit early on? QBs are the centerpiece for any recruiting class, and the earlier they commit the better they can recruit other prospects to join them.

yeah, but he hasnt taken visits. its still a little over a year until his NSD, so even if he commits in 5 months, thats still pretty early

The rumors have been he'a pretty much a lock to OSU for the past year or more. Every insider from FSU, Florida, Miami, and Ohio State have said it's a matter of when, not if he commits to them.

Such a waste

Pretty much this ^

Call me crazy, but with the type of WR's we have and will recruit, I would rather have more of a distributor of the ball, than depending on a runner... Do you see star WR's lining up to play with the Braxton Miller types? Not really... JMO

Personally, I think OSU was better with Guyten

Funny thing is we won our only modern era title with a dual threat QB. Works pretty good in college IMO.

Dude, just because Tee is black doesn't make him dual threat. He was a pocket passer. He was extremely reluctant to run and he wasn't a burner.

Bull Sh!t he won the Syracuse game with a long run to set up the winning FG. Yea he was a passer. Thus dual threat. GTFO with that black stuff.

That team leaned heavily on the run, though. Tee didn't have a lot of weapons to work with in the passing game.

Tee averaged less than 25 yards a game rushing in 1998. We did not need a QB running all over the field to win in 1998, and we don't need it now to win in this offense.

Check his run numbers. Just because he ran a few times doesn't make him dual threat. Example, Bree's runs every now ms then to get a first down but that doesn't make him dual threat. I tell you, watch the Arkansas game and see how mobile Tee was. We were constantly rolling him out and they were hawking him. Where was that dual threat ability. He could run a little, which is why I said he was reluctant. I just stated he was a pocket passer. And I feel because he is black we label him dual threat.

He was a pocket guy. That's Cut's offense. Thank god he was mobile however or we woulda lost the first game of the year. That escapable trait gets you first downs when good coverage ruins a play. Works in college IMO.

Oh yea and now we run the zone read out of a spread formation. So bring on the DT quarterback. Or more game manager Worley types? Give me Nick Marshal all day.

So game manager is the only other option? How about a dynamic passer? Yeah that would work too...
