'15 GA OLB Quarte Sapp (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Is he the coaches son? The coach that came from Science Hill?

I heard there were a couple boys from Science Hill that transferred to Crockett this year?

John Good, he had a son that played for Science Hill named CJ. I don't think he was on Patrick's level tho. Their sister was a baller for science hill too. All 3 are good athletes.

I was really good friends with Patrick's older brother. My family and his would go to church together at sinking creek near Elizabethton. Patrick comes from a great family and I really hope he can get a full ride somewhere, although Idk if he has the size to play at a big D1 school. His sister played at Milligan.

There was a thread about Good on one of the Memphis boards. I guess Memphis has shown a little interest and their fans seemed to like him.

Spoke to a buddy yesterday whose son plays at Milton. Said he sat near Quarte's mom at a recent play-off game and overheard her summary of the recruiting process so far. The gist is that he and his family like Tennessee and A&M. Before Muschamp was fired, he told Quarte that he was too small (he is 6'2, 217 lbs) to play outside linebacker for the Gators which really ticked them off. His mother did not like Auburn because they kept focusing on "don't worry about your school work, we will have a tutor waiting on you as soon as you leave class." This also did not sit well with his mother because Quarte is a good student and she wants him to do his own work. Said he might take visits to other schools for the fun of it but, in the end, it sounded like an A&M/Vols battle. Given that his family can get to Knoxville much easier to see his games, you've got to like our chances. Headed to JAX in the morning to watch the Vols beat Iowa. GBO!

Viking hall. Was going to go to the tournament but had plans pop up. Either way hope he's a vol

Had an opportunity to speak with his coach and he and they are great people first and foremost. He is a standout kid. Yes he is a great athlete and can play football and basketball but his coach said the thing that stands out about Sapp is he is just a great kid that loves his family and doing what is right. Without disclosing all of our conversation I would say he really likes the Big Orange and it was great seeing him wearing the UT bracelet. Kid can jump and shoot the ball surprisingly well.

Why? Why does it need to be anywhere of there's no discussion or news? Besides, he probably lost his spot unless we wiff on 2-3 people

Lost his spot? :lolabove::lolabove: This kid is one of the best outside linebackers in the country and we need more depth at linebacker. So you are crazy if you don't think Butch has a spot for this kid.

I'm not the one who said it. We will take a WR, OT, RB. 2 players will get asked to look around. Sapp waited too long for a better offer. We only run 2 LB's anyways, and have JRM, Weatherd, Bryant, Jakob, Bates, Kirkland, McDowell, Berry, Smith, Bynum. We have depth

Has anything definitively been stated on the status of Paulk? Reason I ask is because it's been speculated the Sapp camp wasn't pleased with the way the Paulk episode was handled.

I am willing to bet if this kid commits to Tennessee Butch Jones and the staff will take him in a heartbeat. Kid can ball.
