Yeah, give me Lewis, an OT (Allen or Richmond), and either Tega or Sapp and i'll consider this the best class that I've seen at UT.

I was told this morning that it looks like Sapp is ours. Something about this weekend.

Things change though, and I am not an insider. As I have stated throughout this thread for months, I just happen to know someone, who isn't even affiliated with UT.

I've been saying for a while that Sapp is a silent. I think what that really means is that he's been instructed to wait on the green light to commit until the coaches are certain the numbers will work out. Depending on the player(s) we may get, Sapp may be left on the outside looking in and our best offer would be to give him a grey or blue shirt. In this case, he'll likely go elsewhere, but I think it's a mutual understanding between him and the coaches.

I just happened to be friends with a guy that found himself on the team, and as soon as that guy graduates or gets kicked off the team (hopefully not!) my limited insider knowledge returns to zero insider knowledge.

No, you know people. I am an average Joe. I am just in a business where I meet and talk to people.

That is why I don't care for posters who try to rip people who say they might have info. All of us don't live in a vacuum. We have relationships, and sometimes, you know people who have info. Just falls in your lap. I didn't go seek it out. The info is not always correct, but that is for others to decide.

Honestly, you would think I was a terrorist or committing treason or something when I post a tidbit of information that doesn't agree with the collective wants of VN. Death threats, hate mail, tire slashing... recruiting is a vicious business.

You give me Allen and this will be the best class on paper that is we had since I became a fan 44 years ago, this class has elite talent everywhere, not just 1 or 2 position.:rock: P.S. I will stack this class up there with the almighty saint nicks class fama.:eek:hmy:

I'm not sure if the recruiting madness ever ends... it has peaks and valleys as far as information but recruiting is 365 days a year now. Especially with this staff, they seem to be relentless.
