Certainly, both Charles Mosley and Justin Martin have reached out with heartfelt gestures. Both players have profusely apologized, for different reasons, while also vowing greater accountability to themselves and their teammates. There's even been talk of someone or even multiple players reaching out to athletics director Dave Hart to both apologize and make clear this Tennessee team doesn't believe any of these hiccups remotely are indicative of what this team intends to represent.

They can speak it all they want but I want to see them do it. See the commradery they build and staying out of trouble. Actions speak louder than words. A great first step none the less

That's awesome.

I'm not gonna lie though... I get a little nervous whenever I see new posts in this kid's thread. Hope he keeps himself straight from now on.

Azubike has been a tantrum throwing troll at Vandy for 3 years now. He needs to get over the fact that he made the wrong choice and plays for a punchline of a football program. It's your own fault bro.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I could do without another post in his thread until games start and hopefully then it will be posts about how awesome he is doing in game. No one is doubting the kid's ability if he can keep himself focused.

Well, somewhat true in that we didn't offer him which he is clearly still bitter about, but I'd consider plenty of his other offers better than Vandy, even when Franklin was there.

He should worry about his own crap. I am pretty sure his immature attitude got him suspended by Mason last year. Poor guy upset he never got offered by the big school and he has to play for the team coming off 0 SEC wins and loses to Temple

This exactly. He's an immature child that is butthurt because he was passed over by a real school/school he wanted to play for and it hurt his little feelings.

All he can do is hide behind his little tough guy act and spew recycled Vandy lines because its impossible for him to truly be proud of his trash team and trash program.

UT further did not have an update Thursday on Justin Martin, whom Butch Jones had indicated should be returning to practice any day when Martin first was injured. Martin has had good days and bad days in testing the knee.

In terms of Gaulden's absence, this is another situation where the Martin injury from two weeks ago looms even larger. Otherwise Tennessee could put Martin and Emmanuel Moseley at corner while sliding Cam Sutton into the nickel spot, since Sutton got work there in the spring.

If the Vols can get Martin healthy, Sutton is smart enough, plenty talented and experienced enough to handle sliding to the nickel spot.

Without question this is a physically very “beat up” team, as someone intimately familiar with the program told us midweek.

Why is this team going so hard in practice? I know you need to create your toughness in camp but we might be blowing our load so to speak before we get to the real games. Really wish these next 2 weeks would dissapear so we can get to Bowling Green.
