'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Are it referring to our history vs their history with DB's or program history? One is correct, one isn't.

Man, how hard is it for people to accept that over the past ten years, LSU has put more and better DBs into the NFL. I can't think of any for us outside of Eric Berry and Jonathan Hefney. Yes, I am comparing history with DBs, not program history. Our program history blows LSUs out of the water. But thinking that LSU hasn't consistently been putting more DBs into the NFL than Tennessee since 2000 at least is, quite frankly, orange shaded delusion.

Edit: I also just thought of Cedric Wilson too, so add his name in too.

LSU also recruited MUCH better than UT during that time frame. I think they have 43 players currently on rosters compared to UT's 37. The fact is though that LSU recruited a lot better during that time frame. With Butch here and signing higher rated players that is likely to change.

Memphis has too much crime, the UT fans are few and far between and the BBQ sucks!

Cedric Wilson was a WR.

Jabari Greer
Jason Allen
Gibril Wilson
Julian Battle
Jonathan Wade
Dwayne Goodrich
Deon Grant

All drafted since 2000, but I agree that LSU has had many more in that time frame.

People were debating the crime issue.. Like we can't turn on first48 and see the tomfoolery on those streets EVERY DAY lol.

"John here is a crackhead who has worked these streets for years and might have valuable info on the triple homicide that's thought to be GANG related"

"Nah man crime is only bad here and there, come eat some BBQ!"

NAH MAN, IM STRAIGHT. :)

Grant is who I couldn't think of. He played a number of years for Carolina.

Yes. Very productive career with Carolina, Jacksonville, Seattle, and NYG, considering he missed his rookie season following a serious hip injury that cost him the entire year.

Rashad Baker
Mark Jones (mainly as a returner)
Andre Lott

Oops...left out Lott. Baker I don't believe was drafted, but did play in the NFL, and I thought Jones was drafted as technically a WR. I looked and he played both WR and DB, but as you said, his primary function was as a punt returner. Position uncertainty is why I originally left him off.

Sorry, I was just considering guys that played in the NFL and didn't think about them being drafted.
