Charles Power is 32 out 34 on his CB predictions. Our Rb depth is alot more favorable than Gawgia but who knows. He'll definitely thrive in our offense. Choosing the pups will be a repeat of negativity for him ala bammer. Lets pray Butch & Coach G put the press on him.

J/K, Kesling isn't bad but they just don't make them like the old days like Ward, Munson, etc. I like them to be a little homerish but not obnoxious about it, it's why Ward was absolutely great.

Munson was a homer if ever there was one. Couldn't carry Ward's jock.

Kesling is bad. He isn't a personality. Whether u like Deerstone personally, there is no question he has excellent play by play skills.

Thanks for bringing this thread back on topic. The greatest announcer debate in Alvin Kamara's thread was quite puzzling to say the least.

Kesling has trouble with player names, field position, yards per play, who has the ball and numerous other things related to calling a game (football & basketball).

Kesling was a horrible choice for the play-by-play job, he will never come close to comparing to Ward. Cawood Ledford at KY was better than Munson and probably better than Kesling but nowhere near Ward.

By the end of his career, Munson's gravelly voice absolutely sounded like nails on a chalkboard.
