I was able to read the article last night. It said that camion will get to choose whether he wants to play Fbs next year or wait one more year at east Mississippi to get better offers. He right now has an offer from Indiana to play next year but that is it. It said that he still favors the vols and from what I gathered would be on board if offered. I think it did say he has had NO contact with the vols coaching staff as of now.

Thanks for the info. I just remember that he attended one of the UT camps and really showed out. I believe that is when they offered him and he was all Vol in the interviews. Then when I saw 247 rated him so low, I was kind of surprised by it after what he had done at the camp. If he's at LB now, I suppose he grew out of WR. I think he was 6'2 or so and 205-210 as a SO.

I remember Cam was one of the most gifted, physical receivers I've ever seen in high school. He abused defenders after the catch and will punish tacklers. Stiff arm and trucking rating on 99! Hope he stays on track.

Camion with a 65-yard TD reception in the NJCAA Championship game being played right now. He took a quick pass over the middle from former Clemson QB Chad Kelly and housed it. Would love to get him in orange & white!

Have any of you VQ guys heard about this staff recruiting Camion? How about GFW or another inside-type person? Surely he's on their radar at this point. Strange we haven't heard anything, though.

after seeing these highlights i have no doubt this kid should jump to the top of the board. better than van jefferson in my eyes and he has 3 years of eligibility. if he isnt playing in knoxville next year he better be at that juco still and not at Indiana.

Tennessee hosted all four expected official visitors of Kyle Phillips, Alvin Kamara, Chance Hall and Quinten Dormady.

On Sunday they also hosted former Vol commitment Camion Patrick who is back in the Knoxville area after returning from East Mississippi Community College. Patrick had a huge year for EMCC as he hauled in 42 catches for 631 yards and 14 total touchdowns as the Lions won the NJCAA national title.

It will be interesting to see what Patrick's recruitment looks like moving into January as he's someone who could potentially blow up after the big season he had.

Interesting... He is a beast just needs to walk the straight line. This could be a big development if he becomes 2015 class eligible with Preston coming off ACL injury and likely not pulling Van or Newsome. Cam would have a prime opportunity to step in with our current guys and be the only available new body to plug in.

I would expect Ole Miss to battle for him too being at a Miss Juco and having Chad Kelly his Juco QB. He is huge TN fan though
