'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

Yep I don't know why people think we would give a guy like RDA or Perry the same workload as a Hurd, Kamara, Kelly.... We would change game plan and probably have Dobbs throw more and if we run it's likely QB designed run or jet sweep and mix the RB in a little bit. We will be loaded at WR with everyone back healthy so we shouldn't have an issue with being pass heavy if need be in emergency situation.

Hell UGA is only team in country you could see be OK by losing their top 2 RBs

You quoted the guy that disagrees with you. Nobody thinks we would give them that load, he does.

What if Hurd and Kamara got hurt or any two out of the three? We can't pass on every play. Teams will know and get in Dobbs face.

And what about getting guys in to develop them so we don't need to play freshman? That's the goal too.

Divide carries among Kelly, RDA and either Bruce/Perry/Berry or whoever they would move. Paulk reinstatement would help ease people's minds. It would be like vandy game where it was A heavy dose of Dobbs running and just using the rb ass a threat.

Which would suck, just like the Vandy game. We don't want that.

This puts us into a bad spot as far as depth this season, but this one feels like a kid that was scared of competition or looking to be THE man in the backfield. Unfortunately for him, there is major competition wherever you go. aTm also recruits at a super high level consistently. The positive is that this is the type of kid that would be a future transfer if things didn't go his way immediately. Great talent only matters if it stays. Great talent without mental fortitude is not the recipe for a superstar. I'm not saying this kid won't be successful, because he was one off my favorites this year based on film. But, reading his message about decommitting helped me draw my conclusions about being another potential 4*, transfer after one semester type kid.

Reading back through the last 3-4 pages, based on what Fort has said and a couple of reputable insiders, I think Bussey would be a Vol if Butch and Co really wanted him. I don't understand it but I have a feeling we'll have one of those "oh I see" moments come National Signing Day.

I don't see a team with one returning SEC experienced back as crowded. Kamara has done nothing yet, Kelly is undersized compared to Bussey. Those are the only guys he's competing with, another FR and a JUCO.

Kelly's 5'10 191.... 2 inches taller and when he gets in Lawson's strength program I'm guessing he closes the 15 lb weight gap in no time.

Otherwise, I get your other points.

Kelly isn't undersized imo. His lower body is built.

Yeah, I/we never really saw any pics of Butch and team pulling Bussey in nor giving him the 'DR' treatment.

I'm not privy to inside information nor pretend to be but I would've thought KB should've & could've been given a lil' more love during the visit - but what do I know?!?
