He requested a move to slot last season before he was injured and that's where he was playing. He was a rb before that but he wants to play in the slot because he sees it as his only shot in the NFL.

bUtch may well be letting players like Bussey & Ford, et al, leave UT with dignity to make room for NSD surprises. I.E, Ford out = Sapp in. Let's see if some other RB...or even an OLman such as Richmond or Allen...fills that slot. RE the seemingly overt attrition: bUTch is building his 2/3 roster totally with players who suit his particular nuances. Do it this and next year or take twice as long to contend for championships. Tempis fugit.
