Very unlikely we take 4 RBs. We need LB and a defensive back and an OT
Nebraska commitment*Kendall Bussey*left his high school game early after injuring his right leg during Newmans final tune up before the Louisiana state playoffs.
The Times-Picayune*reported the injury and added that Bussey was on the sidelines at the end of the game on crutches with his right leg off the ground.
Bussey ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns before the injury in Newmans 56-20 win.
The running back had recently become a big topic in Nebraska recruiting as there were reports he was considering decommitting and was looking at Tennessee and Texas A&M as possible programs. Bussey had not yet decommitted as of Friday evening.
That is the most likely scenario. On last Sunday's edition of "Big Orange Sunday," Coach Doug Mathews said that he believes that, "When its all said and done, were going to bring in probably 4-5 offensive linemen [and three running backs. Were also] going to bring in, counting defensive ends, probably 7-8 defensive linemen, and [perhaps as many as 14 defensive players overall.]
I bet he is glad as hell that he did not decommit from Nebraska yet.:loco:
