'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

Man I'm not trying to be a jerk but you really don't know what you're taking about. Google RB 40 times at the NFL combine. Reid reminds me somewhat of a guy named Mark Ingram and do you know what his 40 time was/is?...4.62 and he seemed to do just fine in the SEC & now in the NFL. And that's just one example, they're are a lot of good RBs playing in the NFL that run a 4.6 in the 40.

Mark Ingram??? hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Earlier in this thread I said he was a cross between Barry Sanders and Jamal Lewis and even that was being way too conservative.

Look folks...Rocky Reid was placed on this earth by God himself to do one thing-make all of our football dreams come true.

And if you don't believe then you is ignert:loco:

Also he has little to zero explosiveness or lateral agility

What is your angle? UGA and many other schools see talent here and we accepted his commitment before he shattered every record in his area. You knock him every chance you get while other SEC schools are actively recruiting him so either you are right and all the other coaches are wrong or vice a versa and I'm pretty sure on where I would hedge to my bet between the two.

Hey man I'm on your side now. We are all brothers in the church of Rocky Reid.

Way to avoid answering my question. We're on the same team - Vols fans and obviously we disagree here but everything you say contradicts SEC coaches who get paid millions to evaluate talent and these coaches want Reid, and somehow that isn't good enough for you?

You say he lacks speed and quickness, shiftiness, whatever. You always contradict anyone who gives credit where it's due.

Just wondering why the distaste for a kid who had a magnificent senior year and is currently a Vol commit?

Do you want to honest truth?

I have nothing against Rocky Reid. In fact I hope he sticks to his commitment. He is good player.

But I hate the people on this board who act like he's deity and above all criticism.

This all started when I brought a rumor over from VQ that the staff was looking to upgrade from Reid. The Rocky worshipers jumped all over me. I was just trying to share info.

I understand. A lot of posters are good for that. However, I don't think they worship the false pagan God, but are just a little emotional because Rocky is not here to defend himself so they fight in his stead lol.

I like that just like awesomeness has been newly discovered in the rff now we find out Westside has a bad case of Reid Rage fever.

Not saying he's as good as Ingram. Just his style is similar. Strong with good balance and similar speed. I mostly brought up Ingram because you said a 4.6 40 was slow when in Fact there are many NFL RBs that run a 4.6. Which you chose to ignore/deflect which seems to be your go-to when you're wrong, well that and exaggerate what people say (like people worshiping Reid for example). It's cool though, everyone else sees it. So you keep doing you. :)

Does anyone know if the ncaa allows player coaches?

I think Rocky Reid should be given a shot at offensive coordinator. He would be great at that! He could put himself in the wildcat and have a run/pass option. We wouldn't even need a full time QB!

Could you imagine Rocky Reid doing a jump pass?? completely unstoppable. We could run that every play and score 100 points every game.

i was going to ask if you had turned 10 yet but u have been a member since 2007 i have not read all this back and forth stuff but to say that reid is all what you say he would be a 12 star and have hundreds of offers .i just hope he is a good quality rb .

You make Lebanon volunteer look like an intelligent poster

LV is eat up with numbers but he can articulate his point and do so tactfully. You can learn something from him.

I think we all are a little crazy about Tennessee recruiting and generally all want what's best for Tennessee. Some attach themselves to some recruits but it readily dissolves (see Cherry v. Kirkland) when better options displace the longstanding commit. Let those who like Reid find favor, organically, in the new RB recruit who takes his place, rather than lambast their opinion.

You literally take all the fun out of the recruiting forum. I didn't think that was possible.
