I went on a Georgia board and they were pissed that they were pursuing him saying he lacked "explosiveness and lateral agility" or some other made up words that I don't understand.

Don't they know that landing Rocky Reid automactically means you win the next 4 national championships? well actually next 3 championships because he will go pro after his junior season and undoubtedly be selected first overall.

So you go from one ridiculous extreme in saying that Reid is slow, zero explosiveness, zero lateral agility to another ridiculous extreme saying he is the next coming of Barry Sanders?!?! You think acting like that helps your argument. It is actually transparent that you dont have an argument when you turn to that tactic. This might sound crazy, but lets give it try. Is the truth possibly something in the middle? Whoa!? Nope, lets continue to look like an idiot and champion the cause for extremism. He might end up being too slow or explosive to be a successful RB in college. Or he might be plenty fast and explosive to be a successful RB in college. You acting like you know the answer to that so definitively is hilarious.

Does anyone know if the ncaa allows player coaches?

I think Rocky Reid should be given a shot at offensive coordinator. He would be great at that! He could put himself in the wildcat and have a run/pass option. We wouldn't even need a full time QB!

Could you imagine Rocky Reid doing a jump pass?? completely unstoppable. We could run that every play and score 100 points every game.

If Butch goes to Michigan I wouldn't be surprised to see Rocky Reid named the head coach. That way he can also oversee the defense and special teams which he would do an awesome job at.

Does anyone know if he plays basketball. I could see him getting a look at the head coaching job there too if this ncaa crap catches of with tyndall.

I was just asking because nobody seems to be able to get his SR stuff even Fort. A lot can change from Jr. to SR year. Some get better some get worse. He looked solid to me in his junior stuff but I can't say that he is the perfect fit for our offense. He looked more like an Arky, Wisky, UGA back pro style I formation back. Our offense is tailored made for elite athletes at RB like Hurd, Kamara, Love, etc. I even worried somewhat about Hurd adjusting to zone read and he is just such an incredible athlete it doesn't matter how he gets ball.

Man I'm not trying to be a jerk but you really have no idea what you're taking about. Google RB 40 times at the NFL combine over the past decade. Reid reminds me somewhat of a guy named Mark Ingram and do you know what his 40 time was/is?...4.62 and he seemed to so just fine in the SEC & now in the NFL. And that's just one example, they're are a lot of good RBs playing in the NFL that run a 4.6 in the 40.

I don't know how Reid will turn out, but I want him to stick with us and have a fantastic career simply because of how much of an asshat westside is being.

Not only that but I'd think there was a good chance that a kid who runs a confirmed 4.6 as a SR in HS could actually improve that a bit once in a college S&C program for 4-5 years. Who knows. Reid could be carrying 10-15 lbs of bad weight and once closer to 210lbs he runs a 4.5. I don't think his speed is an issue at all. Over 5500 yards rushing in 2 years tells me he could get the job done.
