Well I can understand if these were 3rd year guys hoping to get some playing time elsewhere but a two true freshman not getting playing time and deciding to leave. I mean we are thin in spots but if the coaches don't see you as playable due to injury or lack of talent then you won't play. Come back in the spring and bust your @$$

Idk if NotoriousRPP is hearing the same but there is a good chance Treyvon could be reinstated.

Ive heard this a couple times, maybe GFW. Havent asked to be honest. Would take a statement from the girl saying she made it up to avoid a pr nightmare.

Hopefully one of Scott and Paulk returns. If they both don't, I guess we take an extra RB this year?

The Hendrix and Scott situations are odd to me. Hendrix got time this year behind Barnett and Maggitt, two excellent players, and was poised, at least from my perspective, to make a huge impact this coming season. In fact, I think he was on a trajectory to be an excellent player at either DE or DT. Scott just didn't get healthy all year even when the coaches praised him several times publicly. So, with Lane leaving and the offseason to get healthy, I thought he would get a good number of carries next fall even with the addition of Kamara. The circle of life thing seems bizarre because doesn't Butch make all players compete in that drill? I hope they stay, hunker down, and become the types of players we all expect them to be. If not, all programs lose players and next man up.

When you worry about guys leaving then you have successfully recruited good talent. I say that because in the past we have had guys leave and it was because they couldn't play here. I do not feel that way about Hendrix or Scott.

I had posted this previously in the Sapp thread, but I know someone who indirectly knows Sapp. I was told that they had questions to ask because Paulk is well thought of, and apparently she was the one who initiated everything. I think getting Paulk back falls in line with being in good shape with Sapp. I was told that Gillespie was uncomfortable when he visited Sapp before our Georgia game because of all of the questions and complaints.

SMH. Hendrix and Scott are TRUE freshmen. You don't just cut bait on your crew like that. So much freaking time to make an impact. Why throw it away and start over?

My post was not at all about cutting bait. IMO if Butch wants to use big boy recruiting tactics he has to learn to massage egos and keep guys like these 2 in the fold. Dooley did it by pampering a few to the detriment of the team and because he didn't have a host of talent. Tougher job for Butch means recruiting has gone well was my only point.

If the rumors of Hendrix packing his locker are true I am struggling to understand how we let a guy with that much potential get to that point. Scott being upset he had to do a drill everyone else does is weak sauce on his part.

Scott on the other hand. Addition by subtraction IMHO at this point and I was high on the kid coming in. You can't handhold a kid that is malcontent over being injured in a contact drill. The kid has had opportunities and hasn't made the most of them, has an injury history, and seems mentally weak if what we're hearing is true. I'd love for these rumors to not be true and Scott to be healthy and be a great player for us but if he isn't with the program, physically, mentally, ACADEMICALLY then screw it. Cut bait and use the space for someone else. IMHO.

He was talking about the players cutting bait and starting over, not the staff. He said they shouldn't do that to their crew.

I would like to know who broke Derrel Scott's hand... Probably Jakob, he looks like he probably doesn't know his own strength. Ain't easy being a beaster.

With how fragil that kid seems to be I would say he broke it on the initial engagement or the fall.
