Allen also has a strong relationship with Tennessees coaching staff, and he is particularly fond of offensive line coach Don Mahoney, running backs coach Robert Gillespie and coach Butch Jones.
Coach Mahoney is a great dude, along with coach Jones, Allen said. They are two great people to talk to, but then the running backs, coach Gillespie, and then (quality control) coach (Anthony) Parker, and they were fun to talk to.

IMO really sounds like he favors Tennessee but waited too late. I wish Tennessee had room for both Allen and Richmond.
My thoughts as well. He waited too long and richmond saw the sinking ship and followed his heart and now is a vol. What a recruiting class.Scout Recruiting - National Signing Day Coverage, Latest Commits, Top Prospects and More Front Page

1. No room
2. They just got the OT they have always had at the top of their board.
Why risk putting doubt in his mind this late? Take Richmond and be glad you got him(along with 4 others on the OL).

If you saw the same line that I saw in '14, you saw an OL that needs tackles desperately. Is Blair the answer? I would hedge my bet by signing several top OTs with Leftside potential. At best Jack Jones is a Right OT. The cream will rise to the top.
