I hope next year we go and get those 5* "can't miss" type of o lineman . It had been a while since we pulled top talent on the D line and Butch fixed that . Now it's time to do that for the O line

Allen also has a strong relationship with Tennessee’s coaching staff, and he is particularly fond of offensive line coach Don Mahoney, running backs coach Robert Gillespie and coach Butch Jones.
“Coach Mahoney is a great dude, along with coach Jones,” Allen said. “They are two great people to talk to, but then the running backs, coach Gillespie, and then (quality control) coach (Anthony) Parker, and they were fun to talk to.”

IMO really sounds like he favors Tennessee but waited too late. I wish Tennessee had room for both Allen and Richmond.

My thoughts as well. He waited too long and richmond saw the sinking ship and followed his heart and now is a vol. What a recruiting class.

If you saw the same line that I saw in '14, you saw an OL that needs tackles desperately. Is Blair the answer? I would hedge my bet by signing several top OTs with Leftside potential. Jack Jones is a Right OT (or maybe a guard). The cream will rise to the top.

I actually agree with Leb here. We have signed 5 excellent OL's this cycle. Jones, Boulware and Chance Hall all have frames and the feet to be OT's as well. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. We know Drew is going to play immediately somewhere on the OL.

To take it a step further, UT has already signed 4* Ryan Johnson and we are in on several of the best OT"s in the 2016 class. 2016's OT class is going to be disgusting as will be the secondary.
