That was high school. He plays the other side bc you can't take Derek off the field but he's not a WDE type player to me at all.

I'm sorry, but that's just not the position he played this year. Just because he's 260 (and a lean 260 at that) and seems like a SDE to you doesn't make him one.

I'm not saying he couldn't bulk up or play there in a pinch, but it's not his ideal position. He's more similar to Maggit than Barnett.

If Maggitt has another season like last year he'll for sure be in first round talks. He's definitely got the talent and potential. He just has to show that he can stay healthy a couple seasons.

Maggitt injury history will keep him from being a first rounder. 2nd-4th RD IMO. NFL teams are scared to invest first round pick in guys with consistent injuries. Talent wise Maggit def has late 1st rd talent as he is becoming unblockable ever since he learned the dip move.

Maggitt is an elite DE talent. He needs to stay healthy. He sheds blocks well and can flat out get after the passer. Plus you can drop him back in coverage some if he's in the 3-4 as an OLB. He's got a lot of versatility and strengths to his game.

+1... Maggitt grades out a lot higher as a pro prospect than AJ... another year like he had the second half of this season and he will definitely be drafted in the first 2 rounds...
