'15 NC DT Shy Tuttle (UT commit 9/26/14)

Shy Tuttle
Defensive Tackle
Lexington (N.C.) North Davidson

Tuttle was very good again in one-on-one drills. Tuttle is incredibly strong in the lower body and when he plays with leverage he is tough for anyone to block. If he combines all of that with aggressive hand techniques, Tuttle can send offensive linemen flying at times.
-Rivals.

If he can stay consistent then it will help McKenzie even more. He is more vital to what we will do than McKenzie. Kahlil will be drawing double teams and chip blocks so Tuttle will be needed to be disruptive.

Just watched some of his vines. No doubt the kid is a stud in the making. Mac, Tut, and do not sleep on Quay Picou. The DT rotation gonna be sick. Book it!

I'm having a hard time trying to imagine how a team blocks just our front 4 with 5 OL... I think Maggit and Barnett about to put up some damn ridiculous numbers next year. As well as a blitzing LB, so probably Weatherd.

We don't have to blitz with them that's the big problem for offenses. Then after Maggitt leaves we'll just reload the gun with Butcher, Taylor(athletic freak), Ford, Vereen, and Lewis. Yeah buddy :)

It's just so fun to think about. I can't even imagine what happens when we blitz with that lineup... QB in body bag??

Taylor is probably the freakiest athlete in this years class. He will be one of the fastest guys on our roster as a DE/LEO hybrid

We have to expect him and KM to make a big impact right?

O'Brien and Sausberry are the only returning tackles correct?

Will Mike Sawyers be in the rotation?

Someone else said Owen and Dimarya will be back, Vickers is also a Jordan Williams type (SDE/DT). Mike Sawyers Jr. played in the bowl win today.

How'd King Tut look tonight? I missed it with the Tennessee game

DT Mack dominated. Tuttle had good push but not in on many plays. Butcher high motor, over pursued quite a bit. Ford had a sack. Abernathy beaten a few times, but he is going to be a good one. Hard to tell in these games, but no one showed out. Tuttle being an EE is huge. Overall not an impressive showing in stats, but the potential is there. Glad they are Vols.
