I was just pointing out that where you said Love was stronger and more shifty than Cottrell was not accurate. Cottrell's shuttle time is faster and if you compare their power ball toss, once again Cottrell is stronger.
I'm not saying Nathan has better "football skills", just a better athlete. As I posted, the numbers are clear. Is Cottrell a better football player? Of course that is debatable. They both play RB and Cottrell did average more yards a carry as a RB. When I am looking at apples to apples, Sparq testing, and HS stats, and film, I see something different than you do. Of course with you and I, that's normal.
Also much like with Gibson, you have no idea IF CBJ would take Love today or not. He has 2 RBs onboard and he took 3 last year(knowing 1 would likely RS in Paulk). Would he take a 6th RB in a 2 year cycle? I doubt it, especially with what is left on the board at other positions of need. IMO it's UNC or Stanford for Love.
What I meant by stronger was that to me it looks like he runs stronger with more tackle breaking ability. I think the film shows he has more shake to him also. Shuttle is quickness. So maybe you could say NC is quicker. Straight up speed Love is faster though. A laser 4.30 to a laser 4.35. Both are burners though. I would actually have liked for NC to get an UT offer. The coaches didn't think he had the skills apparently. The reports are that even with 2 rbs that we will take Love if he wants to come regardless of numbers or commits at his position. He is explosive and skilled.
But you are right. Nobody knows for sure what prospects will be accepted if they want to come. Maybe you shouldn't be so adamant about claiming you know for sure who we will and won't take.
