As anti numbers talk as ive been im sorry to say that i almost agree with the talk regarding love. take him OR reid. not both. ppl say were thin at rb with how unproven our young guys are but even if some of those guys get hurt or we're plagued by injury next year we still have enough athletes finally to have other options i mean push come to shove weve got some guys with rb experience (albeit highschool). Jrm, kelly jr and elliot berry could all be serviceable there if needed. kelly especially, honestly i feel like he could be like the rb at fsu that started out as a safety and exploded when he switched to offense. Watch kellys film he could be nasty if he carried the rock. Hopefully none of that has to happen but were finally blessed with the athleticism to fill in if needed.
TKjr is no Los at RB. Best option would be Evan Berry. We NEED RBs, 6 actual RBs would be nice to have on the roster. Kelly Jr. doesn't look like an offensive player to me at all. Evan Berry yes, TKjr NO......
Obviously hes a hell of a safety but with his build and athleticism he could be a great runner. Just rewatch his highlights. he was special with the ball in his hands.
as far as 6 rbs
hurd
paulk
scott
reid /love
kamara
plus we still have pig as a situational runner. the oldest in that group will be a soph next year. 5 is enough. Take the NC kid next year and roll into 2016 with 6 dudes.
I've watched him more than a few times. He no where near a college RB. What are you watching(no sarcasm)? He doesn't have the RB footwork or explosive speed through the hole. He has great athleticism at safety but not at RB.
Not at all. It's discussion of the numbers and everything that entails. If the discussion causes you or anyone else issues, you don't have to participate. I don't force anyone to contribute if they choose not to. :good!:
Discussion is a good thing. Where it begins to NOT be a discussion, IMO, is when it decays into pointless, on an on an on, back and forth bickering over OPINIONS.. Give opinions, make points and move on...
At this point even the staff isn't 100% sure how things will shake out.. They have a plan, a good one IMO, but plans are fluid especially when dealing with teenagers..
The gifs on the other hand are AWESOME..
I love VolNation!!
Carry on..
Now LV, I never took you as a martyr.. JK
Wasn't my intention to pick on you and other than your tendency to 'fan the flames' a bit, I've always considered you a respectful poster..

I know that I may get blasted by this but I think it may not be a Reid vs. Love position. I think that we are looking for another RB for insurance purposes.
1) Paulk is unable to come back full strength
2) RB academic casualties - I would like to hear what Karmara's progress is at JC and if he will be able to make it in next January. The reason for concern here is that Bama said several times that he was in the doghouse for not going to class. Just want to know how he can make all of that up and still get in early.
3) If it is Love vs. Reid and only one of them were able to EE then we would take the EE and tell the other to look around.
4) The staff does seriously consider moving Jalen Hurd to another position.
All of this is just speculation but real concerns.

Yep. Pretty sure Butch has a jump pass stashed in the ole playbook as well, which I'm sure people wouldn't be too excited to see.
