Strikes me as a guy who will stick with his commitment.

He hasn't played any games up to this point and does not crave the attention of committing and decommitting. Anyone can change their mind I just do not think he will.

I predict that bUTch will produce a commitment from someone in the next couple of days to soften the blow of losing out on Gentry. I am guessing a DL prospect.

I hope you're right and if there are any "silent" commitments lingering out there (McKenzie?) now would be a good time to come forward. This news is very discouraging. If nothing happens this week then I don't believe there are any silents.

Oh, no, no, no. I've already been scolded and informed that new offers are in no way dependent on other recruits' offers and commitments. Lol. I knew something was up with that. The timing was odd.

Other than distance what were the selling points? Does Texas have receivers? Is Strong an offensive mastermind? Is he gonna be the next Bridgewater? Austin is great and all but dude you are gonna get sick of that town. Its a mini LA.

He has been recruited by that staff hard for years when they were at UL. They have a great relationship.

At this stage IMO offers coming out could very much have something to do with where the staff feels they stand with certain recruits at certain positions. Miss on Chuma and Harrell goes elsewhere, a few OL offers come out literally right after the news breaks. I think that could play out at several positions.
