Neither even has a UT offer I don't think. Maybe they get one shortly, but the staff would be playing major catch up to get in on them IMO. Especially the kid who just committed to michigan state.

You are right that they are not showing offers.

Sheriron has a small offer list, no SEC schools other than UF, so catch up may be easier if we push hard. Bajakan is heading out there and may offer him next week.

Are there not any good QB's nearby? Are they all out west or in FL?

It's an interesting trend for sure. This is one of the best years for QBs in California in a long time. A lot of good prospects. There are a couple of guys in the Midwest the Vols are looking at that are MAC level guys (but one out of 10 always ends up being really, really good).

There's really not a lot of high-end guys in Georgia or the Carolinas this year. I know Nunez is highly-ranked, but I've seen him multiple times and I think he's probably a step below some of those West Coast guys. I liked Kelly Bryant's game and was a little surprised the Vols didn't make a bigger effort there. I know there were some injury deals that scared a few teams off.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I think they are in it for the Francois kid for sure, probably one of the top two or three, but some believe FSU is the end destination even though they seemingly are set at QB for a couple of years. I know Lawson really likes Florida and it seems like he wants to stay in state, but like I said, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Would have been nice to land him, but we will be ok without him. This seems to be a pretty good year for QBs coming out of high school. Lots of talent compared to the last few years. It's not a make or break situation.p

Its almost funny that people just ignore the fact there is already a QB committed. "He may end up on defense". I get that. It won't happen for a year or 2 after he gets to campus. The 2015 and likely 2016 seasons Jennings will be a QB.

I'm just not a fan of taking 2 QBs in a year. As we saw after taking Ferguson and Dobbs, the staff could not buy a QB the following year. I could end up being wrong but if they take 2 in 2015, I see 2016 playing out the same way. I would MUCH rather take 1 this year and get a quality one onboard next year.

Yeah. He is too big, too slow, didn't play top high school competition, he didn't win a state championship. Other than that you were spot on.
