If by "was" you mean still running track and participating in the State track meet this week, then yeah, he "was" on the track team.
"Everyone saw how slow he was"lol::loco:

I still want to know what this kid did to you for you to try to trash him at every opportunity. Did he beat your team, steal your girlfriend....maybe both?
Hard to believe he's not in their 250. His athleticism alone should make him a lock. He's an elite athlete for someone of his size and frame. No question about it.
Going to Gruden camp at Tennessee in June.
Hoover 7v7 after that.
This guy is getting better and better every week. I'm excited to see him develop his senior year.
I pay less attention to stars and rankings and more attention to what school is recruiting a player. Jennings list of suitors is more than impressive.
C'mon Man...Don't get me wrong. I'm glad this kid is coming to UT. But we need a QB who is ready to come in a fight for a starting job as a freshman. And he just doesn't isn't there yet. Unless he makes leaps and bounds this senior year, and I mean outlandish improvement. He is a kid you red shirt, and still might not be ready until junior year. That is, if he sticks at QB.
He is very athletic, but very very raw at QB. Does he have what it takes to eventually be a great QB? Sure. Is he willing to put in the work? From what I've heard, yes. But when it comes down to it, will he wait around, learning, long enough? He seems like the kind of person who would. Will we have over recruited him by then? My guess would be yes.
Lets not forget, we appearing to be trying to take another QB for 15, and 16 class looks to have some serious talent...
