'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Yeah thanks. Bball is a fun way to do it and along side with the guys he's already played with the last several years. Can't see why he would not play his senior year because of risking injury. He could get injured simply from exercise. He's not bubble boy. He shouldn't quit now.

Vic wharton opted to skip his senior year in basketball to focus on lifting weights and preparing for football and it seems to be paying dividends. This kid seems to be very focused on what he wants and has apparently decided to not give in so easily to volnation posters writing him off as a safety. He has been nothing but humble and from reports working hard at becoming an improved passer instead of trying to get 10 different fanbases to have a twitter battle to stroke his ego. We should consider ourselves lucky to have the kid committed to us.

What you have done, I have seent

Attended his scrimmage tonight. The kid is an athlete for sure. He looked really good in the open field and surprised me a bit with some good throws down the field.

Not sure of his stats, didn't take anything to actually cover the game tonight, but he looked good for what they showed, which wasn't much. They have Oakland in two weeks, who was also there watching so offense seemed really basic and limited. Only real knock I would have is the fact that he held the ball a bit too long a few times and took a few bad sacks.

All in all, I could see the promise.

Blackman plays Oakland August 24 such is next Sunday 12:00 ET ESPN2

That was a 50+ yard pass after rolling out. I got called out for saying he did that in practice. The one in practice was closer to 60.

I'm telling y'all, he has a cannon.

Congrats on 10k

About 56 yards in the air. His arm looks strong.

The field at Blackman is in bad shape. Coach said they spent 30k on it this spring but the hard winter screwed up the root system.

Has huge bare spots in the middle. Hopefully they address it prior to national televised game.
