'15 TN ATH Jaylond Woods (UT Commit 4/20/13)

Waiting on a "you could be the next Percy harvin" line

In my dream you were Percy Harvin saving me with the defibrillators.

Sorry. Seemed like the next logical progression.

We'll have to add in a.. "I want to see my daughter play volleyball" in there somewhere. I think that's what he claimed if I remember correctly

You forgot the contract he signed for his daughter...he carries it around you know.

JAYLOND WOODS ATH, 5-9/160, LENOIR CITY, TENN. 2015 COMMITMENT
QUOTABLE: "I had a blast this weekend. It was just a good time to get to know who would be around you at UT when you got up there. I got to do a lot of recruiting, too. But, it was just a great atmosphere because not only the recruits were having fun, but the parents were also. It just was a great time to be around your future teammates."

His first game is this Friday against big rival Loudon High School... expect a big showing from him as one of the lone weapons on LC's offense

Woods is going to have to carry a large part of the load for Lenoir City this year. I saw them in a scrimmage a couple of weeks ago and then at the jamboree at Neyland last week. They just don't have much at all.

Woods had a big game Friday night vs Loudon. He had a 50+ yard touchdown run on an option pitch and at one point his quarterback threw an interception that was almost returned for a 70+ yard touchdown but Jaylond was able to run him down and caused him to fumble on approximately the 5 yard line where LC recovered the football. At the time the score was only 6 to 0 in favor of LC and this kept them scoreless (final score 26 to 0).

Reminded me of Carl Pickens against Rutgers

Woods will be at Tennessee's game against Western Kentucky on Saturday. He attended the game last weekend and really enjoyed his first game as a Vol commitment.

"It was a great time," Woods said. "The crowd was awesome and I enjoyed every second of it. I took my girlfriend and her dad and he got goosebumps. He was overwhelmed by the experience. There were several people that recognized me in the crowds. It was very cool."

Lenoir City's Jaylond Woods caught a ball in traffic and sandwiched by Farragut defenders. The #Vols commit is down w/helmet off.

I assume he was okay?? Anybody hear anything?

MY sister goes to Lenoir City and is in the same grade as Woods, as well as has a couple of classes with him. I ask her about him yesterday and she said she was surprised he was getting scholarship offers from anywhere because he has to retake most of his classes and he gets in trouble all the time.

She said he peed in a trash can in the middle of the cafeteria 3 weeks ago and was suspended several days.

She said he is always wearing Alabama stuff to school and always is talking about wanting to go there...Just thought I would post what she said...

I lol'd at the pissing in a trash can. Probably thought he could get away with by wearing Bammer gear. Teachers figured he didn't know any better
