Not much of an offer list. With limited space this year and the number of highly touted guys we are in on, I hope this is a situation where the kid is flying under the radar and about to blow up. Never been a fan of too many hometown feel good stories. Still waiting for Cody Blanc and Josh Smith to contribute like everyone told me they would.

Umm Josh Smith was a true Freshman who played 11 games and started 4 of those. He had some drops, but again, true Freshman. Let's not be too hasty.
I will give you Blanc though. Solid practice player though.
Solid practice player that's taking up a scholly. That's the whole point, there is a limited number of scholarships available. And instead of keeping the locals happy with my neighbor's kid is playing for UT, I would be more happy with UT winning games. Even if that means not giving local kids a scholly and going outside the area to get better more college ready players. Like I said, I hope this isn't a move to give the locals some warm feel good moment, and more about the coaches see something in this kid and he is about to blow up. The offer list just suggests otherwise.
Well as someone who goes to SDHS games I can tell u this guy is our team and he is amazingly shifty and I promise u this HE WILL NEVER BE OUT WORKEDSolid practice player that's taking up a scholly.
