Just saw this kid had the number 2 play on the fan submitted top 10 on sport center from a play where he absolutely destroyed another player

Can we get a NEW RULE?

If you have nothing nice to say about a current recruit or commit and you're a true Vol fan, then please don't comment. Go find a recruit you like in the recruiting thread and go comment something nice about them. This way everyone wins and we don't have to worry about our opinions possibly preventing a game changer from coming to this University for the next 3-5 years.

I think that's fair and logical.

I won't speak for or against Butchna's conduct anywhere else, but in this discussion and in this thread, your attack was inflammatory and completely uncalled for. He's done nothing wrong here and actually has one of the most logical viewpoints in this thread where Jocquez is concerned.

That's one of the reasons I don't do well with long-term relationships... People need to let past stuff stay in the past. She'll be acting cold and I ask what's up, and all of a sudden I'm getting a ledger of every single thing I've done wrong for the past year! F***ing stressful, man.

This. However if message board posts keep a kid from coming to UT, then is that someone we want? Those are the kids who don't get the PT they want year one, throw a fit and transfer.

The general premise of what you're saying seems more than fair to me though.

Thanks...I wasn't trying to flame anyone in this thread...somehow I've been charged with disrespecting this kid...who I'm actually high on...JRVFL doesn't care what my actual position is...he jumps on anything I post and pulls out the past grievances of his programmer.. Uh oh...I broke down again. :ermm:

You didn't disrespect JB, neither did the other poster who got 'jumped' for expressing an OPINION.. He did it respectfully IMO, and did not bash JB. Not sure why it's so hard for some to simply agree to disagree and leave it at that..

No, this isn't going to be a rule. I don't even know who you are so you don't get to make rules. Also, the true fan card is the most overplayed thing on this site.

And I respect your opinion, BOT. As it applies to Joc - first and second hand knowledge since I reside fairly close and have a close family member that works at South Doyle as well as having seen him play - HUDL doesn't tell the story. The kid knows the game inside and out with heart. Wherever the coaches want him to play he will excel. I love him on offense personally. His versatility as a change of pace RB and in the slot is where I like him most. But I can also see him on D at safety or nickel. There are no known character or academics issues. Several folks are watching out for him.
