I agree 100% that this message board is defined by the opinions of all vol fans. Everyone is allowed to weigh in with their own opinion. I'm using that freedom to say that you are full of it.

You say that you want open discourse but then, in effect, tell people they can't criticize the critics. That they should stfu and get their own forum if they only want to see positive comments made about recruits.

Last time I checked none of the "thought police" have kicked anyone off volnation. Mz Terry or any of the critiqued players dont prevent you from posting. So what's your problem?

You take shots at people for not having many posts and reference your post total a lot. I'm beginning to think you feel entitled. Glad you can speak for the entire site and declare that those who disagree with you "won't be missed".

The cr@p you say can be pretty antagonistic and snarky. But I'm not going to ignore your posts. It's all part of volnation.

Bruce is a player in my opinion, btw.

I think both sides have some valid points. As an adult I think bashing high schoolers is a bit ridiculous. Enough of that goes on with their peers. At the same time jocquez needs to realize that people are going to doubt you, not just in football, but in life. I have had managers doubt me in my job. I have had some tell me I'm not cut out for certain jobs. I have also had people go out of their way to take up for me or tell me how much they believe in me. This is just called life. No need to go on twitter and call out a volnation thread IMO. If you are letting words "hurt your feelings" you gotta grow some thicker skin. People love to run their mouths. Just keep working give it all you have and everything else will work itself out. GBO and good luck to all of our vol recruits.

Not that I agree/disagree with BOT, 'bashing' or 'trash talking' are not words I would use to label his post.... Those terms are as overplayed as the proverbial 'fan card'..

Joc, if you are checking your thread on VN, pay no mind to the clueless horde, that think their ill-informed opinion is established fact. No shortage of jokers like that on any fan message board.

We all just get tiny morsels of information, and that's usually not enough to build an informed opinion with. Cam Sutton was a 3* DB recruit, whom nobody was getting all hyped over. But when he got on campus, he let his work do all the talking. He's a bonafide SEC corner, now.

So, just keep bringing the lumber in your games and all the BS will come out in the wash. :thumbsup:

So far 1 person has said he doesn't see him beating out those in front of him at the positions he's projected at, then we have 3-4 pages of people who trash him but do nothing to discredit what he said. And yes Cam Sutton was a 3 * but so was Woody Quinn

I swear people come out of the woodwork when they find out a recruit reads VN, but you can also find some of them trashing a kid once he signs and has a bad game

Married 17 1/2 years my littany of evil is neverending. I am fairly certain that I am to blame for all problems currently: Ebola yup, Obamacare yup, ISIS yup, bad influence on Bray an Manziel that's me, heck dooley moved here so I could be responsible for him too.

I will accept responsibility for all the above except dooley. :)
