'15 TN CB Ugo Amadi

Ugo signed financial aid papers, so no matter what LSU is an option

Wow! Very smart move by him. This locks his spot up in their class. I am really starting to wonder if he used the package deal thing, in order to get his spot, and then Kyle announces for somewhere else. This is even more true now if Chavis is gone.

Here's my theory. Ugo knew Kyle wanted to go to UT but it was close with LSU, Ugo wanted both to play together at LSU, Ugo moves up his commitment in hopes of persuading Kyle to LSU with him, Chavis leaves, plan blows up in Ugo's face. The end.

This.... I think this is probably pretty dang close to the truth

I'd like to know where our resident insider that plays for Missouri is.

No more transfers, WRONG!

Amadi is a Vol, WRONG!

Last I heard, he was on a plane to Jacksonville with Gruden, reviewing Tennessee plays from 2014. It looked like Gruden was wearing an orange tie and the Missouri guy appeared to have a Sooners shirt on but the letters ers had been removed

I don't think it is funny. It is partially his fault but he trusted Chief who had not signed his contract.

Should have done his homework better or waited to make an announcement. Chief was still employed by LSU so obviously he's going to recruit him as if he's staying at LSU. It was out there for over a week that there was a good chance Chavis was going to leave for A&M. What would really suck for the kid is if he ends up at LSU still(since they at least are forced to still take him if he signed the financial papers) and he doesn't fit what the new DC is looking for.

Amadi told a reporter this morning that he was confident that Chavis would stay at LSU because he wouldn't have recruited him as hard as he did if he was leaving haha

I dont think Chavis lied to him. It was his job to tell him everything he has. No matter what Chavis did, he wouldnt win.

Didn't say he lied to him. Read his response from last night when asked about chief. He said something to the effect of I don't believe he would go after recruiting me this hard. He trusted Chief.

He also didn't do his homework because that info was out there about him not signing his contract.

I guess he could if the staff would still take him. No idea if they would after yesterday though.

He's already committed to Ole Miss before. I guess if they truly wanted him, I don't see a reason why they still can't take him.

I was more or less thinking they were recruiting him to get Phillips, now maybe they think they can get Phillips without him though.

Seems like we could use 1 more cb though.
