3/4 of the people on here talk out their A$$es. When you know the recruit personally, it makes for some good laughs on here. :good!:

Agreed. Be careful though; if you don't constantly and consistently spew the orange Kool-Aid, some on here will start accusing you of being a Vandy fan. :)

So here's my problem with UGA. I understand this guy is very talented. And we obviously want him bad. But why do they pursue here in Tenn when they have just as talented guys in their own state. If not more talented. Is it because they let aub fl and al come in and rape there state that they have to go out. I would like to here everyones thoughts. For me in want to win my own state first. And I am glad we finally did that this year.
So if you were the head coach at UGA you would tell guys like Aj green, Matt Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, Murray, Gurley, etc., thanks, but no thanks, we're only going after the guys from the state of GA.
You go after the best guys that you think fit best in your program.

I had that injury two years ago. It's not that bad. I went up and down two flights of stairs and drove to the ER with it.

Never have broken an ankle, but severely sprained one playing basketball....was as painful of injury that I've ever had. That sh*t hurt! Lol

Broke mine last year and had to have surgery. That would be the main factor. Did he have to have surgery?

I had surgery and was cleared to do anything in about 4 months. At 3 months I was able to start low impact stuff, like walking, elliptical, etc. But I'm far removed from High School, so his recovery may be quicker.

I have a plate and 10 screws now, and it restricts my movement some, but for the most part, almost 1 year removed, I can get around pretty good. A little over half way through P90X3 and doing well.

I also broke mine and had surgery, except I broke mine my senior year in the second game of the season. I was cleared to play and returned in the last game of the regular season, as long as I wore an "air cast" (plastic and gel). I definitely lost mobility and speed, and that carried all the way through basketball season too. Its been a little over 10 years and still get stiffness from time to time, and easily sprain now. I got a plate and either 8 or 9 screws (cant remember). So he could be back on his feet in no time, but could still have a few problems.

EDIT: when you look at my ankle, you can see the screws pushing against my skin.

That sucks if it's a break that will require surgery that's not good. If its a clean break it won't be that bad. If its a clean break they say your better off doing that then getting a real bad sprain.

Same here on mine. Very odd looking.

Yeah if I had done it when I was in high school I would have been back alot quicker, but the doctor slow played the recovery.

I'm sure he'll have some personal attention or a trainer to get him back quicker also. Everybody heals differently too.

I can testify to this and say it is truth.

I had a high ankle sprain once and it took about 9 months to completely heal, and even then it was still not the same as before. Totally sucked.

Funny story..I broke mine playing basketball as well. It was one of those awful breaks where the ankle is displaced sideways but no bone breaking trough skin thank the Lord. Had to have two surgeries.

My coach looked at me immediately after it happened & said "walk it off Grace we need you!" & he was dead serious Lol.

In my experience (which is fairly vast) ligements are far worse that broken bones when it comes to recovery time and gaining full speed and flexibly. I hope this was a clean break and no other damage.
