'15 TN DE Dylan Jackson (former UT commit)

What a baseless, unfounded post. Post less please.

Baseless? At this point Maryville player's HS success has not translated to college success. Douglas was by far the best in the last 10 yrs and Stewart was avg. They're a machine as a unit but not so much individually.

Have they played any powers from outside of TN in the last 10 years? I have a feeling some of the FL/GA/OH schools would bring them down a notch.

Don't think they will ever play an out of state powerhouse. They don't want to take a chance on losing a game.

Blackman and Ensworth have taken the exact opposite approach, in playing Bowling Green and Louisville Trinity the last few years.

Don't forget Blackman played Hoover after BG backed out this year.

And Maryville didn't want to schedule Ensworth, because they didn't want to make the return trip to Nashville. I have the utmost of respect for George Quarles, but I wish they would schedule some better out of conference games. I have a feeling they would never schedule a Hoover for week 10.

It's about to get real the next couple of years as Maryville and Knox Fulton will play a home and home the next two years.

When I think of Jackson I can't help but remember Jason Witten coming out of Elizabethton high school. He was recruited to play DE but was switched to TE.

If Jackson is not big enough to play LT then we better stay finding a new position for Jack Jones.

Not saying that Jackson will move to OL. I have no idea. But this idea that he is not big enough because rivals has him listed at whatever weight is stupid. Look at him standing right next to Jack Jones?!
