'15 TN DT/OL Zach Stewart (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Ok the kid has a 4.0 even though according to the video posted above he doesn't even know where he is located, or if he is east or west of Knoxville. If he was halfway decent and not in single A ball Vandy or Memphis or hell even Tennessee Tech. Would have offered. He is not the real deal I'll tell you that now. He may turn out to be good after a lot of coaching, and a shock to his system when he sees someone over 250lbs but he is in for a rude awakening. And someone above said he is " well spoken" I doubt he knows his ABC's. If Butch and co. recruited I'm I have hope but I'm a little shocked at the offer to be honest.

What's this about? I get criticizing a recruit's on field performance, even if you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about. Insulting his intelligence just shows you have some sort of personal axe to grind. Pretty classless.

What's the point in recruiting someone who won't flip?

How many recruits have you heard say are solid and then flip? I keep up with recruiting pretty well and have seen it happen many times. I'm not saying he won't be good but I know for a fact he isn't that good. I have never even met the kid, but I have seen him play plenty of times. I used to in the same division years ago. If you don't live in the area and haven't seen him play and the competition he has faced atleast 15 times your opinion is invalid.

You have it down to a science. What about 14 times?

Ahh, so you played for a rival. That's why you're trashing the kid. You may want to reevaluate some priorities.

I've seen him play a bunch of times and i think he's pretty good, but my and your opinions don't matter at all. The opinions that do matter are Rivals who rates him as a 4 star OL and the Tennessee coaching staff.

Maybe YOU should flip to another school. Your opinion makes you look like a douche and we have no place for your kind here.:hi::dance:

Just because this kid plays single A ball doesn't mean he is not any good, it just mean his competition isn't great on a week to week basis. At single A, he should be dominating which according to his stats he is. Remember Eddie Moore, Heath Shuler, and Carl Pickens all came from single A schools.

TK2 wasn't exactly playing 6A-level ball either.

CarbonVol doesn't accept your opinion unless you have watched a minimum of 15 full games of Zach Stewart.

I will vouch for carbon and say the competition in the area is very bad.

And I have even stated myself I'm a little suspect of him as well does play a little stiff but does have some good qualities plays mean very strong and has a nastiness to him. Struggles a little with speed rush of the edge but is going to play guard at ut so won't have to worry about that to much. Hopefully he ends up a all American here and can say he was one of the classes that got ut back on track. Go vols

Lol no I'm sure he does.my wife is a teacher in the Morgan county school system ( which coalfield is in) and she has told me they all know there ABC's.

Listen to the kid talk he doesn't even know he is west of Knoxville. I don't care if he can spell his name as long as he can play ball. He can play ball against crappy opponents. None of which he is faced have a single offer from any type of school. I just am ready to see how he plays against D1 talent.

I was wondering how long it would take some one to catch that. What can I say I'am struggling in my comp 2 class.

I noticed, but didn't want to bring attention to it...since you were responding to me...didn't want to come across as a bully. :glare:

I'm a little to young to remember copeland at Harriman. But I oliver springs was good, rockwood, and Oneida was ok then if I remember right.

I remember going to the state championship that yr when Harriman went. I think the played lipscomb, and I remember lipscomb was huge.

I may be able too help you.I played at a small HS also. Then for a few more years.I played o line and have coached it some. This kid needs a little wor on his foot work and some college sc.The reason he doesn't look as dominate in HS as you would think is.It's actually harder to block a much smaller person.I would have much rather faced some one my own size or larger.Plus he probably gets a little bored with it at this level.I think this kid will be a guard but will need a rs too develope his foot work and conditioning.
