Heard the mouth breather "Phil from South Knoxville" call in to a show and say that Stewart was "slow and probably wouldn't play until his RS Junior or RS Senior Year."

I'd say a redshirt yr would be very beneficial for mr Stewart. Maybe not a redshirt jr but freshman or sophomore yr should be starting.

I don't disagree with that, writing the kid off as he might be lucky to get on the field after 4 or 5 years is just dumb.

I agree. I know I'm beating a dead horse here but playing against weak single a competition ( even though he has done very well in camps) a redshirt year will do him a lot of good to pick up on the speed of things. Hopefully we are building enough depth so we can start red shirting some lineman when they come in.

I love his whole attitude! What he said about his ankle injury and putting the pain aside to play for his team because they need him and count on him was telling. This guy WILL give his ALL for Tennessee. We've got a good one here.

I'm at his game tonight against a very bad Oliver springs team and I'm bout to get blasted for this but so far not impressed with him at all.

Might want to I never coached college football but I did go to a game one time so I think I know what I'm talking about.



If the coaches feel he is worthy then I trust there opinion just saying I wasn't impressed.

Lol there were not any gaping holes that I saw and as a matter of fact all of the big runs came on the left side and he plays righ tackle. And like I said a very very bad Oliver springs team.
