I know he's projected to be a guard but with our struggles at tackle do you think he gets a shot there? He has started at left tackle in high school for 5 years now.

I don't think so. He's the kind of attitude we need at OG to aid the run game. IMO there will be better options at OT. IMO Jones, Hall, and Boulware would all be better suited to play OT in our system.

y'all still haven't put Blair in the game... watchin y'all's film and that Coleman kid is not ready and prolly never will be for tackle.. can't play in space. needs to be inside but seriously, worst offensive line I ever seen on film. shew, now I know why my pops almost had a heart attack over the weekend lmao

Wait what? Coleman looks bad, but so did our OL a few years ago with freshmen at RG/RT (who were both recently drafted, one in the first round, and starting in the NFL for their respective teams). Not sure what your point is here, but Zach is a G/C and he will likely be on the two deep early into his career. Coleman, while bad now, likely won't be this bad forever. Very few true freshmen OL are good, mix that in with him playing a new position from HS and it is evident he's not ready. We just have nobody really better. It's really a testament to our lack of older talent on the roster, especially on the OL.

Far from a troll my little uninformed friend. That other guy we got from Coalfield on our team Napier #68 he is doing great isn't he? Our Oline is horrible and he still can't get a snap. Play against weak talent in high school your probably not going to be good in D1 ball.

Nearly our entire line is true freshman, and Napier isn't even getting a look. Hell for that matter our whole team are freshman and if they are half way decent they play. This kid gets nothing.

I'm not. Im saying that he is not good. He is even so bad that he doesn't even get a chance to play with the O line struggles we are having. Basically our O line sucks and he still doesn't get to play. That makes him pretty bad in my book.

So a true freshman WALK-ON doesn't get immediate playing time and that means a former teammate shouldn't be recruited...because they played for the same team? :blink: Like I said, you're not even trying anymore.

Ok you need to read all of the previous posts or don't bother commenting. I'm saying he sucks because he plays 1A ball, so I don't see why we are wasting a scholarship on another 1A ball player from the same school. Makes zero sense. He may be good one day I hope he is, but I'm telling you I have seen them all play they aren't going to pan out.

So kids cant be good because of where they live? I guess you dont want Johnny Frasier either. Youre comparing a 5.8 4* to a kid who wasnt even ranked on Rivals. It seems like you have a personal issue with these kids. Stewart has shown out in camps and dominated.... against other D1 talent. And if you have watched him, you would see that he is playing RT, but will be a guard in college.

You are a complete idiot. I'm not a troll I played football in the same county years ago. I see this kid play often. I know we are trying to " lock down the state" but this kid isn't for us. Since he is so dominateing why doesn't his offer sheet reflect it? Just because he committed to us early? I think not. It is because he plays against 240 pound scrubs. If you haven't been and seen him play your opinion is useless. Call me a troll but when we waste 4 years on this kid I want you to come back and tell me I was trolling then. Idiot

Tons of kids go against 240 pounds kids. Its high school. I would guess that at least 90% of high schools play Dlinemen 240 and under. High school DEs arent usually that big.
