'15 TN DT/OL Zach Stewart (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Dumb rule, but I believe the intention is to limit those "processed out".

Can you imagine if Alabama could sign 40 every year, and cut the fat yearly?

Very true...basically you would probably have maybe 8-10 teams signing new guys every year and the rest of the country getting the "leftover" transfers lol.

how many semesters of college will these four have to pay for?

I would think none if not much at all if they could get the Hope scholarship which is the Tennessee lotto is for. My brother in law lives in TN and didn't pay much at all for 4 year of school because of the Hope Scholarship.

The Hope scholarship is $4,000/yr, $5,000 if you make a 30 on the ACT. Tuition at UT is over $10,000/yr. It's significant.

Not wanting to pry into Mr. Stewart's family life, but is it possible coalfield is very rural and not extrememly high income such that significant amounts of need based financial aid might be available to a student from that area? I know a few students from the Chattanooga area from single parent homes that attend UT for free between their Hope money and financial aid. These are not destitiute type of situations either, just very modest income levels.

My only point is this theory is possible but prying into the details of the family's finances is inappropriate.

There are need based scholarships and Pell grants too that can help. If you count room and board it's over $20K per year.

Both of his parents are school teachers at coalfield. I'm from the area and it's not a high income area.
