I think Drew wants to come to UT, but his family favors OM. The battle over the next few days is does his family give in and let him chose his own career path, or does Drew give in to family wishes? It's going to be a looooong two days!

247 update

Multiple sources close to Richmond’s recruitment indicated Sunday that the Vols have plenty of momentum with him coming out of his weekend stay at Tennessee, and it wouldn’t be a stretch to suggest that he returned home to Memphis on Sunday leaning toward UT. Richmond always has liked Tennessee. He knows plenty of people there, including a number of the Vols’ players, and he has developed a close relationship with UT coach Butch Jones. Richmond clearly enjoyed himself during his third visit to Knoxville in the past four months, and people who spent time with him over the weekend believe the Vols currently might have the upper hand over the Rebels.
But the race for Richmond is far from over. In some ways, the real drama is just beginning. Richmond now is back in Memphis, where he’s surrounded by some people who would prefer to see him at Ole Miss, and sources close to Richmond believe it might be tough for Tennessee to hold off the Rebels down the stretch. While Ole Miss seems to be legitimately concerned about the Vols coming out of the weekend, there’s still plenty of time for the Rebels to surge back into the lead and hold onto Richmond, who has been committed to Ole Miss for almost five months. He’s expected to talk with coaches from both schools this week, but with the dead period now underway, their interaction with him will be limited to social media and phone conversations.
Geography remains a potential obstacle for Tennessee. Richmond’s proximity to Ole Miss is a big part of the reason there are people close to him who would prefer to see him sign with the Rebels. That could include his mother, who has favored Ole Miss for a large portion of his recruitment, largely because he would be closer to home if he plays there. But Richmond’s mother has made it clear that she also wants him to be happy at the school he chooses, and that has led some people close to Richmond’s recruitment to believe she’s now more open to the idea of him signing with Tennessee.
Will it be enough for the Vols to steal Richmond away from the Rebels? We’ll find out Wednesday. Richmond has indicated that he plans to simply sign his National Letter of Intent and submit it to the school of his choice rather than holding a press conference or signing-day ceremony to announce his destination. But there’s still plenty to be decided before then. Regardless of what happens, Tennessee has made an impressive late surge with Richmond after having faded almost out of the picture with him just a few weeks ago.

After reading what 247 and VQ have posted, IMO It seems like Richmond committed to the staff during the visit but they're still skeptical because he's a Memphis recruit that's been with Ole Miss for quite a while now.

If the mom and uncle are truly on board with UT now, Richmond will be a Vol I think.

In other words 50/50

There's quite a bit of regurgitated info in there but this part did stick out to me

Yeah it def sounds like he has told staff he is coming but they are cautious because he said that before then committed to Ole Miss.

So 247 is saying that it's 50/50 right now. I think Drew will make his own decision and sign with the vols. It's going to be close.

Please for the love of all things holy, don't let it be a late commitment. Please let it be the first thing on the morning.

Drew, if you're reading this don't keep us hanging.

I wonder what would happen to this place if Richmond stays with Ole Miss and Bussey flips to A&M

Well didn't Hubbs say we are in for some surprise commits as well? I think we will have to see some movement by some of current guys. So I won't be surprised by anything on NSD15! Getting Richmond will cement this class as one of the best in UT history though as far as need and depth. This class is really a foundation class because of the talent we are bringing inside the trenches.

Interesting that he doesn't want the fanfare. For all the talk, I really think he is very torn between Rebels and Vols, and is between a rock and hard place with two organizations/coaches he really loves. I will support him whatever he chooses, but hope he is a VOL.
