'15 TN OT Drew Richmond (Former Ole Miss commit)

I can't blame this staff for going all out on this kid, but I want to know without doubt that our staff didn't want Allen. If Allen told our staff don't bother, then it explains why we went all out on Richmond. If Richmond plays us, again, and we chose to not pursue Allen, I think that'll end up being a huge mistake. It also eliminates any excuses you can make for this staff come 2016. If our OTs don't pan out, like Blair, and we struggle because of it, this situation will be a huge reason why. I think we will be fine, but I also think we could use some solid OT depth aka Allen, Richmond, etc...

Why? No need for that.... He has many more Vol fans around him than OM fans. It's a couple of boosters and coaches that are the problem. Hell, the crowd at his home game chanted "it's great to be a TN vol" while Butch was there. All he has to do is avoid certain people, not the masses.

Ah you mean the people that can actually cause you the most trouble, those with authority and money. Just easier for the kid to do whatever he does on the DL from this point forward whether it be UT or Ole Miss.

High Risk/Reward ratio.

If you get both on NSD, you have to cut someone else that day. I imagine (and that's all it is, my opinion) that Butch chose not to put himself in that position.

It's gonna be back and forth guessing until Wed. If he wanted to let us know, he would've decommited... like Leo Lewis did while visiting LSU. He didn't, so buckle up!
