Picked up a CB to OSU too. Guess they know UK is getting Harris. I wonder how hard we are going after Vaughn.

I've seen this kid play 3 or 4 times...he is a DOG. similar to I'Tavius Mathers in high school (Current Ole Miss RB from Nashville) in that he has a smaller stature but moves like a power runner. if we could convince him to redshirt his freshman year (because we'll have three good backs with three years of eligibility left next year) he'd be a STEAL

It figures, someone would cb him there. Ohio St posters on 247 were upset by the offer to Vaughn. They were saying he had to be a backup to a backup plan for them (Harris & Weber). They were saying his offer was not commitable and that Coach Oscar Meyer hasn't even me with Vaughn.
Quite comical, reading their mini breakdown about Harris probably ending up at Kentucky!

I think we are in good shape with Vaughn but he's just now starting to blow up.

If I had to take a guess, we end up with Kamara, Vaughn and Love.

You're not the first one I've seen dismissing Reid. What's with that? Until he opens his commitment back up I don't see why you would say he's going elsewhere, even if just on hunch.

I think Fort said something about it, I maybe wrong there though. Matthews also said the quote about adding up to six instate kids and some being cut. The inferences and connections add up to Vaughn being added if he wants to commit and Love is likely to be added as well.

The Volquest guys are strongly suggesting he will be phased out. I know that isn't a popular opinion on here but it is what is.

Hubbs was just on the radio talking about Reid and other possible RBs for this class. He kept stressing that Reid "currently" has a Vol offer. He made it painfully obvious that it's not set in stone that Reid will still have that offer come Feb.

He also said that UT is in "card trading mode, where they are looking to upgrade at numerous positions, running back strongly being one of them."

The coaches are going to do what they want to do but I'm afraid dropping Reid will come back to bite us a few years down the road.

Maybe because Reid was talking about taking a visit to WI. He takes that visit and the staff could decide to fill his spot with another RB. JMO

I think Hubbs is smoking crack! Reid is one of the most under rated players this year. How the heck does a RB who breaks the STATE Rushing record only be a 3 Star? How many records has those other RBs we are in on broken? Give me a break!

If CBJ told Rocky to go elsewhere i for one would be highly disappointed and upset in the lack of insight! Of all the RBs we have committed this year and last year Reid and Hurd are the only 2 backs that fit the true mold of a SEC RB! PERIOD! With Kamara coming in very close.

Frazier and Vaughn are the only two others on the board currently truly INTERESTED in UT that fit that mold as well.

So that being said,,,,,what other RB is out there that is interested in UT that would be an upgrade?

Love is not and i repeat NOT an upgrade from Reid! Love is a Slot WR at best! He would be a perfect fit to replace PIG.

Let the name calling being!

What is this "true mold of an SEC RB" you speak of?

And why doesn't Kamara fit in that group?

Btw, Rainey and Demps sure did some damage as running backs in the SEC. I guess we should stop recruiting Love and tell Scott to hit the road since they don't count.
