He's going through hitting the FR wall. A lot of kids go through this. He will be fine. Hurd went through it, too, but did so in the spring.

I would love to see de1 pop in here and tell us some info on Van. It is very interesting that Van is taking a visit to TN on the last weekend before the dead period, and he is an EE ( I think).

Reason I asked is 247 is saying Jefferson is OV to UGA this weekend and he wasn't mentioned as a visitor for this coming weekend on tn 247. Sorry for confusion.

Oh! Gotcha. Guess we will find out Friday. I'm guessing whoever gets the visit gets Van. Mom will probably drive him to Georgia personally.

Yes Van has asked mom to go to UT. Mom i guess is getting the point. Butch and staff are working hard to seal the deal. I myself have talked to dad and he's said he taking back seat and hopes Van makes the right decision.

I've heard that Jefferson is warming up to the idea of flipping to Ole Miss. Is this true?

Thanks. It seems his dad would take a more proactive stance, considering who he is. Do you think he makes it to Knoxville this weekend, or does mom block one final visit?

Drew Richmond was getting involved with him IIRC. Could be.

Based on observation and the tone of some stuff here (this is purely speculation) DR seems have have some very profitable Ole Miss ties he's loyal to and he's not very timid in telling that to people he's recruiting.

Well, I mean the NFL does eat a coach's life. So perhaps that is why she has more bearing on his decision. I'm not going to tell any parent how to raise their kids, if she decides UGA is better for him and he doesn't have a major problem with it then good for him and his family. I do think she should see what UT has to offer to her son before she makes a decision but in any case I think Van will be fine.

I hate UGA but for the most part I think they are a pretty decent program when their players aren't being arrested.:)

Some of you guys writing off Malone must not have remembered Robert Meachem's redshirt freshman season. It was very similar to Josh's. Very up and down. He turned out to be pretty good :)

So is this "visit" to TN legit or not? Sounds like two sites are reporting two totally different things and I noticed PF over at VQ just said he doesn't think TN is a factor with Van.
