He wouldn't be the first player from middle Tenn to flip from Georgia.

I'm a Dawg fan and even I'm tired of this thread.

I frequently lurk here at VolNation and enjoy reading updates on some of the same players we're recruiting but I think this will be my last visit to this thread.

I'm excited to have Van commit to the Dawgs and I have to say reading this thread I realized all college fans are the same when a coveted player commits to another school. A few reasonable posters wish a kid well and move on but most fans are the same everywhere. We didn't want the kid, he's afraid of competition, he's soft....blah, blah, blah.

its pretty clear if he does indeed visit only a few days after committing to uga that he wanted to be a vol and was told no by our coaching staff.

UGA was his number two school. We told him no, and he wanted to get in with them while they still had an available spot. If we lose an ATH or WR at some point, we'll probably flip Van.

This. Which is stupid on his part, because it still makes no sense a kid would commit to a school at the beginning of the week and at the end of it take a visit to one of his other finalists. Like I said weird recruitment.
